Why do I never dream of him?

I want to remember it all,
Feel those deep deep kisses,
See the light in his eyes,
The intent in them,
Taking me with focus and that hint of aggression,
Feeling his hands tapering over my curves,
weighing nipples swollen and taut,
trailing my slickness with knowing fingers.
Those emberlike eyes locked into mine,
while bodies dance entwined and wanting,
surfing on waves of pleasure.

How can I forget?
Yet,it is fading and I am struggling to retain what seemed impermeable,
What seemed so utterly impossible,
past all forgetting,
is happening.

Why can't I just dream of him?
