Peace left me so long ago
I barely recall what it feels like
My pagan mans mind demands
So much sacrifice
Of this Irish Catholic soul
Girls and guts
Brains and blood
Fists and fangs
I've stood on the summit of my sins
Heart torn from chest and high in hand
Smiling, I cried for more
As sweet intensity was killing me
Still, I cried for more.
