The maiden fair, she wore the pearl.
The pearl, she wore on her ear.
For that pearl was hers and hers alone.

And one, she wore on her neck.
It dripped and dripped and ran down her breasts.
Gliding and sliding down her chest.
Down in the prince's lair.

As if anyone else could bear.
The pearl in the maiden's hair.

Horses, horses: glide in the night.
Horses, horses: low tide comes at dawn.

All is lost, all is lost.
Thrush.
