Perfume Waging War

I'm trying to imagine you with your hair down
Those gentle, blond curls
But Joe Cocker keeps getting in the way
"Baby, take off that dress"
I try telling him you are wearing none
White sweater and jeans
You're a student
And I am driven to distraction
By your youth
By the innocence I cannot know is present
But assume anyway
And that draws me closer
You walked by
Your perfume like mist from the ocean
Invaded my table
It broke through logical thought process
And made me take notice
As your form moved away from me
So now you hold me for ransom
Your perfume has taken prisoners
And I am here, left helpless
Searching for some means, some way
To get back on track
And draw my soul back to the task at hand
Yet this IS the task
To notice you
And smell your perfume
You sit a mere 15 feet away
Oblivious to this
Blind and utterly uninterested in the battle being waged
Your perfume and my resistance
Your scent and my need to finish this task
I sip my coffee
We exchange glances
And your perfume wages war

An interesting

war... And the allusion to the song... 9-1/2" Weeks and Kim Basinger... and the perfume in the air. You sound pretty defenseless here. Very good...

wow

this is really good!! The form somehwat diff than what I usually tend to *like* but you stated your point well, and well, this is not muc sexier than a subtle, sexy scent, on a man or a woman :)
