i felt the hell-beat of your heart
before I ever met your eyes -
your hot breath moaned with the wind and
your desire trembled through the earth.
my maiden broke at your vile look
and before we touched I was fucked -
bred to your awful mystery.
impaled on your demonic cock
I writhed in sulfurous pleasure
with your death-seed in my belly.
in spring you sent me to mother
and i rejoiced to once again
be among flowers and forests
but now how thin the web of life,
how near existence to the void -
how close the well of nothingness.
by summer’s end i craved again
the cool oblivion of your realm
and ached for your dread mastery.
I wished to again conceive your
dark will in my fecund womb,
and know the truth mother couldn’t tell -
all life flows from the springs of hell.

Good poem. Love the classical mythology and imagery.

Not one for knowing much about Greek mythology, I had to brush up on Persephone, sb. Once I did that, things fell into place. Nicely done.
