Always online and searching
They will write about what they want
Oblivious to the fact they are your friend
Everything they say turns you on
Though in the outside world
They can't seem to ever connect to anything

Being the next door neighbor
Stealing your wireless internet discreetly
Writing about what he'd like to do to you
As he peers through the curtains at you
Pouring their heart out about the ideas they get

A co-worker falls in lust
With only words on the page
Dreaming of the intimate lover they see
Hoping to find someone exactly how you write
Never realizing you're their intolerable person
In the next cubicle they loathe wholeheartedly

Your boss sits at home in his chair in the dark
Though at work he thoroughly detests you
Feels himself up reading your fantasies
Not even aware who you are
The innocence of the online persona
