Petals
           come undone
the flower blooms
           but a bit
wild ginger
           spreads
across the jungle
           floor
new blooms
           hidden

when can
           the bee
fly thither
on wing
           as light
as gossamer
wrapt in
           veils of
beauty

some flower
           then wither
never seen
           by anon

Is this life?
           to be alone
ere the
           end draws
near
or only
           a new beginning

fields of
           hot coals
shards of glass
           mica cuts
deep as
           barbs
Words alone
           cannot suffice
deeds are
           nigh         .
