tagNon-Erotic Poetrypigments of hope

pigments of hope

Sewn upon the barren fields
in quilted strokes adorned the canvas.

In swept upon our passing
snow white deemed our funeral shroud.

In dissolution
pigments of our hope set free to scatter.

Drift unseen on currents.
Sequined, strewn upon a shore.

To rest.

And there, another child
does gather.
