When they cut me off, the drop was deep.
I dived into the ocean, I was drowning.
I didn't have a right, I never had to think.
You always did that for me, you left me hints.
I was too damn straightened, dangling from your strings.
I didn't understand the blessing behind the curse.

When you cut me out, you gave me back my Glock.

See at first, I was hurting, I lost my honesty.
Then I switched it up, hid behind your greed.
I was in denial, i refused to swim.
Just like a sponge, I was absorbing everything.
It took a really long time to really master me.
There were times I felt you still had a hold on me.
But now I know.
Now I can see.
I have mastered you but you ll never master me.
