I stand before you naked
in this game you insist we play
for me this is torture
I feel vulnerable in every way

I know that look in your eyes
It sets my body to flame
it steels my breath and numbs my brain
I can't even remember my name

my body trembles slightly
perspiration glides down my back
you say I must learn patients
a quality I seem to lack

your gaze takes me in
lust apparent in your expression
a whimper escapes my lips
for me this is a hard earned lesson

the minutes seem like hours
I feel I'm about to burst
I want to reach out so badly
but I know you must do it first

my eyes are slightly lowered
as I send you my silent plea
I can't take much more
please, please touch me

This poem drew me into your mind!

Well done, but patients should be spelled patience.

Wow!

I love it, it has nice structure, and is filled with desperate need that makes the reader tingle.
