look across the table
don’t put down the phone
don’t fall in love
just consider the reason
I talk to you, a stranger with eyes,
a brain and lungs
who sees my desire, hears her breathing
purred through coffee steam,
knows the curl of her lips
out loud speaking thoughts,
-distance concepts-

I miss you so much baby, and those nights after poetry circle.... don't tell me that was 16 years ago? How is that fucking possible? I still think of you every fucking day.

Poetry a trois?

I like this line:

"I talk to you, a stranger with eyes"

AnonymousAnonymousabout 20 years ago
pass it on

I feel like this is a note

not quite threat or warning

more of an alert-

written and folded

past up two rows

third period english class

damn what were you like in

3rd period English class?
