A blanket of blue up above where I lay,
A blanket of green beneath my body,
A light of orange to warm me through,
Your body next to mine to complete this rhyme.
A hot summers day is always the best,
To warm the body and to take a rest,
It's heaven on earth with you here next to me,
Laying here in the shade of the old oak tree.
Your hands on my flesh,
Your breath on my neck,
Your lips touching mine,
Forgetting all time.
Clothes scattered around on the blanket of green,
Reality slipping into a dream,
Legs being spread and tongue being applied,
I am in heaven yet I have not died.
Long slow licks up and down my valley of Eden,
My back arching up to meet the sky blue blanket up above,
How I love my afternoon poetry meeting,
Same time, same place tomorrow afternoon?
Then my love it's your turn to be mine!
