Whiskey sang from the
mouth reading the pages
covered with patterns
of spilt drinks.

Listening to him
I see empty barstools
in the dark spaces
between his thoughts

and watch him think
“I’M STILL STANDING!”
as he lay face down
in his own vomit.

A curious

little write. I liked the second stanza, quite a suggestive image. I think you should consider rewriting the first stanza, it didn't read very well compared to the other two.
