POETS 680116

I noticed poets always
search
for new names
initials
mnemonics and metaphors
- I read of Iris plucking grapes
or
Shannon bathed in mossy coolness
Love becomes filament cobweb
crystals of light
Why don’t they talk of a good toss
with Doris in the grass?
