Bound
and determined
to get it right
I work
and I slave
throughout the night

breathe relax breathe listen

Kicking
and screaming
I came into this place
Sitting
and squealing
they come at their own pace

shudder sigh shudder pant

Curiosity
has killed,
what got out of the bag;
Vicariousness
has thrilled,
lying on purple shag

Your Poem has been mentioned on the new Poem reviews thread for Tuesday 8th of February. I thoroughly enjoyed the poem.

Good job, Remec! (snickering at the purple shag)

.....

Nicely written, Remec. Flowed smoothly..

Although, I probably would have either separated the words into different lines--> "breathe relax breathe listen" OR put commas in between them. Same with "shudder sigh shudder pant"

Other than that, excellent!

uh

What are you doing with my sit-n-squeal and my purple shag? Those are sacred. :) Cute poem inspired by a weird place.
