Pollution

They seem to be polluting me, everywhere I turn
From pesticide to cyanide, I watch my cigarette burn
Surrounded by silent death, unknowing lambs are we
Poison in the food we eat and in the air we breathe

I look upon the spoiled earth, when I watch the news
Mother-fucking beaurocrats, cannot be excused
PCBs and toxic waste, god knows they will hide
Just the same as always, out of sight and out of mind

We're choking on ourselves in the smog that we create
Blackening our lungs, blackening our fate
Acid rain stains the world, lakes and forests dead
As the greenhouse effect heats the planet bloody red

We're the pigs who make this shit
Like the pigs we are, we live in it
No such thing as retribution
lets save what's left and end pollution
