Possess me in my deepest hours.
Once repressed by space and time,
Purging now, release their powers.
Once held fast, denied by will,
The portrait starts to take it's form.
Now released the desires create,
The artist's vision, in mind born.
Now revealed, the canvas stands,
Sullen and pale of colour, cries.
For the artist's touch it longs,
Give life, the painting in his eyes.
Painter and the pallet one,
Their lustful passions splash the page.
Paint what they have both desired,
Primordial urge flares with rage.
In colours splashed with disregard,
The pallet stands complete.
A portrait of passion, beauty and love,
Before the artist's feet.

I liked your very solid use of meter and rhyme. I also liked that it had interesting subject matter. There were a few punctuation errors that bothered me a little. If you'd like to know more about those, PM me. Otherwise, good stuff! C.o.S.
