Not a toy, never a slave
Only someone for you to play with
Not a boy, never a man
Just something for you to use

It's in the head
It's in the mind
Words of the dead
Screaming ‘you're mine'

I never had a chance to run
Kept inside by the sun
Shadows and pain are my friends
Meadows and rain burn in the end
You made me your possession

Can't fight back, or raise a fist
Tied by your chains you're holding
Fade to black, never resist
I'm your prisoner, now and forever

It's in the head
It's in the mind
You're always screaming ‘You're mine'

I never had a chance to run
Kept inside by the sun
Shadows and pain are my friends
Meadows and rain burn in the end
I can't break free

Lost inside my own mind
No strength for me to find
Your words repeating in my head
‘Say goodbye to sunlight'
I'll say hello to the end
Before I lay in your arms
You will never possess me again

I never had a chance to run
Kept inside by the sun
But now I'll take this bullet and this gun
It's time for me to end it all
And say farewell friends
I'll never be your possession
