Prayer

Once upon a time
There was a girl, who thought she wasn't worth a dime
A girl who would cry herself to sleep
And use a razor, and cut so deep.
The more and more she hurt
the harder
she would press it into her skin.
Untill it was so thin
To where she thought it wasn't a sin.
That wasn't enough
She wanted to hurt, who had hurt her.
Deep, Deep farther in a black hole
Spiriling down faster faster....
All she wanted to do is fit in
With the crowd
Until one day, she believed she had a
calling
From God, something divine
Something so divine that she would quit cutting...she praying
She decided she wanted to be herself
That is all you need in life
Yourself and God
