Spent the day reminising about the future,
And Chrissie sang to me, told me she saw neon lights
Whenever I walked by ...
Smiled, contemplated archery, washed and ironed
and moved through rooms
Dressed as my daughter when the moon became round.
Busied about generally, folding and closing drawers,
Used my arms, my legs and my sidestep to pleasing effect.
Smoothed my velvet throw and thought of velvet throats and black lines of smoulder.
Being special ... so special,
Merging the stark day with the ethereal dark
Fuelling my momentum.
