I hear my ancestors crying
A path of unknown
Freedom revoked of the great land
Savages, no misunderstood.

Women and babies hold tightly
Warriors hang head down
Great Spirit, please hear me
Answer our cries.

Hear the drums
Hear the heartbeats
Hear the cries
Great Spirit was this envisioned.

I see the horses painted
The warriors proud
Their chants are loud
Great Spirit help them

Generation have lost
Spirit have died
Tears remain
Pride in our hearts.
