Prince charming no more!!!

My sweet Cinderella has found a new fella.
I'm charming no more she calls me a bore.

My castle is worn, tattered and torn.
Much like our love which came from above.

I want to leave but my steed has gone lame.
This miserable outsider my troubles I blame.

My loyal councilors have been replaced by jesters and fools.
Who don't give advice but quote only rules.

As she packs up her gowns.
The clock on the wall reads 11:59 .
When midnight comes she will stop on a dime.

For it all will be final.
The marriage said and done.
She got a new love and I'm not the one.

Long blond hair and shinning blue eyes.
Tarnished by hatred, deceit, and lies.

My crown is bent
There's dust on my Cape
My heart is a prison from which there is no escape.

My throne has been replaced with a stool in a cell.
This fairy tell has turned into a nightmare from hell.

My lands divided and fortunes are nil.
I'd give all my kingdom if her heart I could steal.
The slippers were shattered in a million tiny shards.
Along with our love. It was dealt in the cards.

Remembering times running through my mind.
Thoughts of past love, joy and passion.
But in her eyes I've fallen from fashion.

She has a pardon to do what she wants.
The new prince she'll dangle and taunt.
I'm a prince no more the lawyers keep score.
My tender heart suffers constant abuses.
I profess my love but she only refuses.

A fairy godmother is what I need most of all.
As the clock rings midnight I whimper and bawl.

There chariot is packed so full I only get glimpses.
Oh how I will miss those little prince and princesses
there going away to a far away land
Ill be left here alone with the these two gold bands.

My granite statue is gone replaced by one tiny stone.
Awaiting a date that as of yet is unknown.

I'm left here all alone to face the rapture.
Where I will remain happily never after.
