I found a little hole in my heart, so I crawled deep inside,
It was so cold and lonely, but a place I could hide.
I was safe from your world of all the hurt and all the pain,
I was protected from the thunder, the lightning and rain.
I was away from the danger, the danger of you,
But like a fool I went back, and believed your lies were true.
Now I'm back again with the same old bruises on my face,
Another night beaten and alone , your gone without a trace.
For what reason I don't know, your heart is so cold,
Your words of hate, spoken loud, spoken bold.
I am a coward to your actions, your promises and threats,
My life is filled with scars of love and a thousnad regrets.
I search for a breaking point, but when it comes will I have
the courage to run,
But until that day comes I live in fear, with the thought
that love is only lucky for some.
