The little girl screams
Her shrieks ringing in the distance
I see her shake, and quake and move,
Not like a little girl should.
Her face changes, growing different
Twisting, growing, transforming
The little girl left so long ago
This is just a shell
For what lies beneath the husk
This is what we see every day,
And we ignore it every time
The demon possesion overcomes us
And we are made blind
For this we pay the ultimate price
Our souls, our lives, for eternity
There is nothing left to exist for
Only pain and sorrow and remorse
That little girl is gone
In her place stands pure evil
Because that is all that is left.
