I did it again
I pushed you away
This time you won't come back
Make everything be okay

I won't let anyone close
Though I tried to let you in
But many tears of pain
Prevents what could have been

Fear of getting hurt
Fear of more pain
Fear of more lies
Makes me go insane

My goal was to stay happy
Safe and alive
All I succeeded in was the hurt
That I have struggled in to survive

It's so ironic
What you fear most high
What you try so hard to stay away from
Is what you pull closer in your life

So I add more cuts on my arm
To lessen the emotional pain
As the blood seeps out of my arm
I can breathe again
