QUALIFYING DIFFERENCE
These last two months there's nothing I do new,
my brain is engrossed far back in time,
when I was young and innocent like you,
and I was sure, a fuck was not a crime.
A fuck with any girl that I could get,
all clean or dirty, kind of stock-exchange,
a fuck that both the parties would forget,
the rule in force being that perpetual change.
So, how could I complain of your youth,
when I admit that I was just the same?
My qualifying difference was truth,
I always kept a minimum of shame.
But still I don't complain of your lie,
since we had fun, then all with us is fine,
Strong souls, but weak flesh to satisfy,
I hope you had a groovy Valentine.
