commanding chance
never settles
for just one dance
rolling dice
she’ll throw
snake eyes twice
birth to tomb
she claims
oracle lineage
in braids of
of her spinning
twine
securing illumination
by elements of design
daughter estranged
from
a fading star
her changeling
time lines
rule
her
genie jar
as she scrys
temporal nyght
seeing her ball
in the cup
or rattling
the ball and chain
never a chess piece
in a checkerboard
box
Moira
never settles
but
she ‘ll do
a little shuffle
with the ruffled
turns of time

Thanks for the journey~
the frenzied format of your work! This poem swayed with movement in both words and structure. The words that jumped out at Me were... "as she scrys temporal nyght" - great play on the spelling by the queen of chance. <wink>

Simply complex... I like the breaks of the work. Almost like a flinging of self back and forth...then breaking free nicely done blue
