Rain

Watching the rain fall to the ground
Getting lost in the very sound
Dampness in the air from above
It looks as peaceful as a dove
Just as it is a calm sight
It can turn violent by night
Lightening fills the clouded sky
As thunder is heard nearby
All things quiet and still
Beating of rain on the sill
Dark clouds roll on by
Off for another place to cry.

Nice imagery on the rain;

evokes memories of other times,

places,

rains.
