I took a shower at 2 AM
let the rain fall down my face
let the H20 substitute my tears
and the hot steam crowd my space
in my attempt to let the soap surpass
the line one man had before
the curtain escaped its threshold
to the tiles my rain did pour.

At 3 I nursed my bruises
and returned to my waiting sheets
gradually I introduced my fingers
to the place my thighs did meet
this time a steady sprinkling
and an everlasting mist
was merely a result of
an astute flicking of my wrist
