Water falling from the Sky
I find it soothing, a bit depressing, you might ask "Why?"
I will answer the question after a small sigh
At times when I am on the spot to explain things, I can be shy
The sound of the Rain drops hitting the ground
That is lovely, but not when Thunder and Lightning are around
The thundering sound makes me jump
My heart beats faster, thump after thump
The white flash brings a flashback
My mind is now suffering and fighting off an attack
It happens in an instant, happens so fast
It comes and goes and will not forever last
Many will come in the future as I had many in the past
As I said, your questions I'll answer, now ya know
This Poem is almost at its end and time for me to go
Well, not just yet
Rain falls, the ground gets wet
Puddles are in the way
We can splash each other and even play
Play time will end, but we can still have fun
We all can look up, eyes closed, smile and enjoy the Sun
You may wonder about the depressing part of which I said
It's after the Rain, the Sight in my head
Seems the brightness has been washed away
Seems like life facing death with decay
Not trying to sound negative, I'm just comparing
My Poem is complete, for the moment, I'm done sharing.
