a mist is falling
watching the water hit the ground
collecting puddles in the yard
it starts to get darker
and thunder rolls across the ground
and yet she isnt afriad
she runs though it all
and trys to collect the water
in the puddles water hits
fast and many
but shes having the time
of her life
and i go and pick her up
and we stand
in the downpour
till it stops
lighting strikes
and the sky is clear
and we go back inside
waiting for the next time
Rain will go out in the rain
