Raining Glass Hearts

It's raining glass hearts
We are all shattering in our own way
The organ that once gave life
Has stolen it all away

We didn't mean to fall in love
We thought we couldn't be broken
But we fell under the spell
When sweet nothings were spoken

Time stood still for us
Washing everything in beauty
Love tainting our vision
Caging us in when we thought we were free

We fell hard and fast
Upon love we staked our claim
Believing in nothing else
Knowing we'd never be the same

We found a reason to smile
But that smile turned to tears
When we found out our hearts were pawns
Now we live in our darkest fears

We lost sight of our destinies
Now who are we suppose to be?
The love we craved given to others
We live out a tragic love story

We're all searching for true love
As we all fall apart
Collecting tears and broken promises
It's raining glass hearts
