Rain gathered like a quicksilver mirror
in the bottom of a catch basin
A tangled ribbon of sound stretched
thin by too much distance
A blurred vision of tomorrow
Shadowed by too many hopes
Footprints left by passing judgment
Leading to the answer I lost
A broken halo glinting
In the moonlight
Lost Angels asking for directions
Guiding me toward a forgotten promise
Stars looking like fireflies
Trapped in spilled ink
The seasons folded like origami birds
Flying in 3 month intervals
Words etched from nothing
Creating pictures in our minds
