Raping of a SoulbyRedHairedandFriendly©
It’s happening again, the waves are pouring over her.
They snuck up this time, she wasn’t ready or prepared.
She should have been.
She should have been ready for it, the pain, the hurt,
the raping of her soul.
There was no warning, it just happened.
The power ripped her open,
drained her of all thought.
All it left was death.
The edge screamed for her not to walk so close.
The tight rope waved under the force of the wind.
She was warned, but didn’t listen,
So now he controls her mind.
There is a moment she hovers and thinks.
To leave him would hurt him.
She doesn’t want to hurt him.
She doesn’t want to hurt anyone.
So she sits down, she writes.
She pours out her soul.
She travels alone, lost, and saddened.
Her smile is gone and she can’t find it.
Perhaps someday she will.
