What world is this that yon window brings?
Soft yet bright, startling yet mellow,
Flowing across the floor and many other things,
It is white, yet clear; to a child’s’ eye yellow.

Warmth in a cats fur, lazy in its beam,
Fun for the child, watching dust fly,
Bringing a smile to a sleepers dream,
All can know it if they but try.

What is this miracle the world has ignored?
What is this mighty, but small occurrence?
Nothing they have not seen, felt, or implored.
Should they open a curtain, or look above their fence.

Look to the sky; look over a field,
Bringing a smile to every face,
All will know the love one should feel,
Moreover, get rid of the sorrow so many hates.

A pleasant little read on extracting pleasure from life's simplest things; just let it evoke in your mind the innocence of watching dust specks floating in a beam of sunlight.
