RAZOR
I held the razor blade over the soft skin of the inside of my left wrist.
The purple blue rivers flowed so near the blade, streaming into smaller veins.
My heart pounded in my ears louder, Louder, LOUDER!
It mocked me!
My hand shook along with my body in a rage that seemed to stir from the very depths of my soul.
Blood taunted me, calling, threatening.
Why not?! Just a little pain, right?
Nothing could compare to the torture I felt within.
My face tingled, spotted red with anger towards everyone and everything.
The razor slashed easily through the skin, parting cells, uprooting the pain that lives deep inside me.
Cutting farther in with every movement tears dripped from my eyes, until I dropped the blade.
Wiping away my salty tears, streaking my face instead with blood.
Taking in sharp breaths, my vision began to fade into darkness.
The pulse quickened, only speeding the process.
Energy drained along with the rusty liquid from my body.
