There’s so many people living on the edge

can’t you hear their voices
crying out for revolution, and retribution ?

I’m not afraid of dying
but living scares me to death.

The politicians have forgotten this place
and they’ve justified among themselves.
that a sudden visit at election time
is enough. And when it’s time almost everybody runs to catch pantomime

It’s priority to decieve the majority
with political prostitution,
resolution receeds .
epidemic lies and deceptions
moral defection
and the majority rules
Political propaganda
has them believing the alleged
counterfeit wisdom
trapped in schisms and isms
preception of naught the majority remains caught
but my own eyes can see
past all their feigned interest.
What they fail to see is all the consequences

Orally armed to do bodily harm
framed by contentions intention
whereby they’ll lynch men
they think our lives are cheap
and easy to be wasted

The people turn away
to terrified to face it
so history repeats
until I can hardly take it

I’d warned deaf ears
to confront their fears
and stand behind their beliefs
but my free speech was sent into the emptiness of the atmosphere
and now the very thing that most fear
is very near
and to late, the fury of a land that expelled my words as myth
rages as the people realize that freedom no longer exists

How can you go on with such conviction
when your traditions have deceived you ?
openly blasphemus avowing that in god we trust

aborted doctrines and slaugthered principles would run through my hands like bloody water
if I were to wash my hands of this.

And how will I explain this to my children If I have them ?
I’ll go on but
you’ll fail if you try keep me in this box with psychological locks

I don’t respect you
I won’t protect you
you can neglect me
It wont affect me.
I’m past the point where I could even
support these lies anymore
So I won’t even try anymore
And I don’t want to die for nothing
nor do I want to have nothing to live for
So this is how I choose to live:

I wont be stigmatized anymore
and I can’t be comprimised anymore.
I hope that you can hear me
although I know I’m not profound
I used to belive it all.
but that’s not me this time around
So to all of those who no longer believe what they see in the tapestry of words they weave so fine just let them keep talking and
stand against the fury of our times.
