I reach for your hand, but it’s not there
Nothing but emptiness, loneliness and despair
I panic, scream and call out your name
Only to hide in sorrow and shame
The water is silent

I reach for the gun, and place it to my head
Without you, what is life, I’d rather be dead
To save you, I couldn’t, therefore you drowned
The gunshot rang out and erased my frown
The water is silent.
