She is a virgin
She is comfortable with the act of sex
It does not bother her
Though she is uncomfortable
With herself
Her thoughts
Her body
Feeling awkward in her own skin

She has always been like his
Unsure
Alone
Ashamed

She questions herself
And the meaning behind others actions
Afraid

Letting someone in
Past her defenses
Letting down her guard
Is hard
Almost impossible
Afraid
Of hurting

She is a virgin
But she is more
Not exactly what you think

She is not weak
Or naive
Or innocent for that matter
She has seen and done things
That others do not wish to speak

She is good
And kind
And sweet

Despite what she thinks about herself
In the end
She is loved
And just starting to realize it.
