Last night I tried to enter your realm of desire
But you were nowhere to be found
Well before I knocked upon your door
You were already looking for a new chalet of love

Lovelorn I went searching for you
Looked under Venus' provocative shadow
Followed love's intoxicating trail
Its opiate scent led me no where

When I turned to face the sun
Cherry blossoms were kissing the wind
When I turned to face the moon
Desire melancholically whispered to me

"His love is not meant for your common knowledge"
Even though your bougainvillea smile enchants me so
With hints of absinthean pleasures
That dance within your aphrodisiacal eyes

Last night I wanted to enter your realm of desire
But you were nowhere to be found
Well before I knocked upon your door
You went looking for a new chalet of love

With hands that ache to touch again
Like I yearn to feel your breath
Once again on the back of my neck
Where eros resides inside my soul

My enigmatic soul that dances on
Inbetween the profane and divine
Looking for a love that's sublime
That transcends mortal obsessions

A love where I can swim
Within the ethers of desire
Where I won't slowly drown
In a sea of moral inhibitions

Last night I needed to enter your realm of desire
But you were already gone
Well before I knocked upon your door
You had found a new chalet of love

So I slipped inside my dreams
That hypnotized me with chanteuse hips
That were swaying to mellifluous guitars playing
Under warm cinnamon skies infused with honey

Slowly I walked along the ocean's edge
It's natural rhythms effortlessly penetrating me
Amidst it's cyclic ebb and flow
Beneath the enchanting moon

Morning came, lured me from my bacchanaliac dreams
With promises of sun drenched kisses
That will melt like dark chocolate
On the tongue of all my tomorrows
