Plant a seed on a empty land
Till the ground and plant the seed
And water it, awaiting what is to sprout forth
You wonder what you will reap unto what you sowed.
If you sow love in your heart, you will reap love
If you sow pain you will harvest pain.
See my outstretched hand and take it
I will always take care of you and never let pain
Take you yonder from me
My fingers wipe away your tears
My fingertips caress your flesh.
I sow love and I reap it.
For it is in being with you
That I see the worth of the reaping.
Love will never lead you wrongly.
A loving touch will always mellow down pain
Caring words will always sow salvation
And above all trust will sow happiness.
Reap what you sow always
And that will never lead you wrong.
