do you remember me?
I ask myself,
of myself.

I am the girl
you forgot
left dormant
laid aside.
the girl you tossed
away, as nothing.

I am the heart of you.
Haven't you noticed that you
are missing me-
missing the power
passion
pain
that is the center?

I say to myself,
of myself,
I remember
and I will bear
the pains of rebirth
to have you back.

heartache

is the worse, isn't it? These words:

I am the heart of you.

Haven't you noticed that you

are missing me-

are poetry alone..

Wish I had the answer

Still searching. I hope I don't forget. For the abyss is larger than life itself. Will there ever be light on the path? Or just this feeling of confusion?

Well just another side of the story.

"I am the heart of you"

Love that line.

Short poem, yet very well said. Another moving poem today. Good work.
