I am the girl
you forgot
left dormant
laid aside.
the girl you tossed
away, as nothing.
I am the heart of you.
Haven't you noticed that you
are missing me-
missing the power
passion
pain
that is the center?
I say to myself,
of myself,
I remember
and I will bear
the pains of rebirth
to have you back.
