From deep within
Voices from my past
Asking me to repent my sins
The voices I understand at last
I cry myself to sleep at night
To wake to my living fright
Memories don't fade, time does ease the pain
With each rebirth, do we all gain
Head held high
No need to see
Envisioning the sky
For things that will not be
I cry myself to sleep at night
To wake to my living fright
Memories don't fade, time does ease the pain
With each rebirth, do we all gain
There can be no blood from stone
As the tears stream down like ice
Time to venture into a future alone
With each new day the breath is nice
I cry myself to sleep at night
To wake to my living fright
Memories don't fade, time does ease the pain
With each rebirth, do we all gain
Never to live in memories of shame
