What happens, when there is no feeling.
Everything is null and void.
A void that never can be reopened.
For if it was, disaster to all.

Dark images, close around my heart.
Sucking all the life outta my soul.
Eating at my heart.
An unforgiving, relentless
merciless hunger.

Taking all in its path,
to the land of the damned.
All who enter, never see light again.
Listless ... Pathetic
Soulless ... Nothing

Once I saw the light.
It shined throughout my life.
Loving days, filled with laughter.
Nights filled, with the moons
ever present, magical glow.

Angels were envious of my life.
They blew their love, on my wings.
Fairies would kiss the ground,
which I walked upon. I was
so loved. Knew it, felt so
lucky, to be me.

Then bad things started
happening. Days turned to night.
Yet, I knew the sun was shining.
I could almost feel, its warmth.
Just knew ... it was there.

Nights turned, to living hell.
Many things can go wrong,
with a blinking of the eye.
One never knows how bad,
Bad is. Till it slams, into
your most perfect world.

Grabbing all you know,
to be innocent and good.
Turning it to ash, its claws.
Wrapping around that
perfectness. Strangling
all the life, love ... happiness.

You see it happening.
Cannot believe, it to be so.
One day you wake up,
in a living nightmare.

A place so bad,
dark, empty of life.
You gasp ... throw up.

Just stand dazed. Taking in,
the total destruction. Of the thing
you once called, your life.

What do you do at this time?
Where do you go from here?
What is life? What happens,
when you have nothing left?

I stand here, in the land
of the damned. Waiting
for a glimmer ... something.

Some lil speck, of nothingness.
Nothingness to some, is
everything to another.

So I wait, to recapture.
Recapture ... my everything.

Yet Again

Another heartfelt verse;

makes me want to reach out,

to offer solace and comfort,

'til this passes

and life and love go on.
