you enter me and
a moon from legend
pulls dark waves
onto a deserted beach

i cinch around you
and dancers' shadows
cast by firelight play
on walls of a cave

we grind to climax
and supple panthers
in silky blackness
hunt remorselessly

we cool from passion
and a cypress swamp
in gloaming mystery
fades toward night

Not a wasted word and so many beautiful images. This rocks.

The more I read the more delighted I am at how much you make me enjoy something I don't normally like--erotic poetry. It normally seems trite or flat to me but your erotic verse is always full of surprises.
