I've seen bloody skies
and raindrops turn red
The moon travelling around
and the oceans bring dread

Thunder continues to roar
and lightnings quick flash
standing here with you
doing nothing that rash

The world begins to fall
and everything is brought down
but I stand by your side
with a smile not a frown

With blood red skies
and a fluffy white cloud
Deep dark blue seas
that would make an artist proud

Glad I am that I met you
that you're tangled in my past
My heart beating in sync
with the thunders sound blast

And all that it is
imaginary and real
When I open my eyes
how you do make me feel

I look around
and what do I see
I see I am alone
just the red skies and me

So I close them again
caught with in a dream
You are there once more
beautiful, soft as cream

Tears begin to travel
flowing down my cheek
gravity grasps them
the ground they seek

Mingling with the red drops
they slowly fade away
out of sight they go
as silently as the day

My Knees grow tired
my heart grows old
nature beats ravishly
my body turns cold

I face the heavens
as winds sweep on by
my legs fall from me
on my back I do lie

The clouds billow up
covering the red
slowly I sleep
considered to be dead

But it is only my heart
my body does breathe
as everything comes
then everything must leave
