Redemption

Her dirty old man,
His naughty little girl.
Jaded, cantankerous, pessimistic
Innocent, sheltered, optimistic.
Beaten and bruised heart,
Ravaged and hurting soul.
Fuzzy beard, thinning hair, aging body,
Soft raven tresses falling on smooth alabaster shoulders.
Afraid of his future,
Has her whole life ahead of her.
Brown eyes, with flecks of gold, filled with pain,
Dark Hispanic eyes, open wide and angelic.
Dumpy, creaky, aching,
Nubile, delicious, worshipped and desired by him.
Sees the soul and the Universe,
Says only the physical exists.
Scared of forever,
Wanted forever with him.
Waited for her return patiently,
Ran back into his arms, was embraced and loved.
Uncertainly held his ground for her,
Ran in fear and anger when he was in jeopardy.
Banished her, in anger for what she had done to him.

Wants her to return to him, even though he banished her for her act.
Wants to love her and be loved by her, without hesitation, for the rest of their days.
Wants her to hold him and tell him he is forgiven for his anger for what he said and did.
Wants to forgive her for all of her transgressions.
Wants her to wrap herself around him, himself around her, skin touching, lips touching, bodies writhing, hearts, minds, and souls as one.
Wants to be inside her, on her, with her, encompassing her, being encompassed by her, madly and passionately inside her, and her closed around him, thrusting as she pulls him closer into her.
Wants redemption, if not in her eyes, then, in his own, for banishing her from his heart and life.
Wants to have the dichotomy of young/old, jaded/innocent, healing heart/healing soul, fuzzy/soft, fearful/hopeful, hard/soft, dreamer/realist, as part of his life forever.
Wants to be the “Crichton” to her “Aeryn”.

Doesn’t need, but wants to be with her, forevermore.
Hopes she will want the same.

To "Moving"

I originally wrote it as a Word Doc. file, with the italics for her verses. Copying and pasting it, things were lost in translation.

didn't work, but we're still friends

She read the poem-I also sent it to her directly. She and I talked, we're good, but just not a couple anymore.

Moving

Perhaps an Italic font for her voice as hers seems the reported voice while his voice seems the voice of the poet. This will remove the struggle to keep sorting the voices which I don't imagine you see as essential (the struggle, that is) to appreciating the poem

Lots of interesting images!

Kind of hard to read through though because it keeps shifting perspective from the man to the woman. I like that, but maybe if you put some space between every few lines it would be easier for your readers to follow.

Your poem has been recommended in the New Poems thread on Literotica's Poetry Feedback and Discussion forum. Thanks for the read and welcome to Lit's poetry world. :)
