Along the empty Autobahn, or on a silent harbor pram. Take that turn off, hop ashore, step up through the neon door.
A lonely sailor's hopeful grin, bloodshot, limp and soaked in gin. A heavy rhythm a buxom rump, a bottle of rain for a heartbroken chump.

They sleep all day and dance all night, drinking from the serpent's bite, in the flashing light reflects, a mirror cracked and strange defects, where do you live? I do not know, up and down and to and fro, tell me when it's time to go, drag me from these twisted streets, full of make up and deceit, for I am down to my last coin, lost all feeling in my groin.

Venture further through the night, you may be in for a fright, but do not stumble or lose sight, ye who enter here tonight, for should you make it out alive, past the barbiesuccubi, there is a place with spirits high, a secret bar, a paradise, but merely money won't suffice, for here amidst the fancy dress sits a proud lioness, full of love and full of rage, she swings the key to her cage, along the street above the light, twinkling shades of midnight.

A bottle here an ashtray there, smile and kiss me everywhere, all the sailors stand in line, one more dime, she's so divine, don't leave me here alone tonight, there's no sunrise anywhere in sight, sail me off into the sun, this place is vile and overrun, come with me, take my hand, our hearts set on another land, blessed and free and rather calm, for now, we bid farewell to the Reeperbahn.
