Silence in the reflection
caught within the crystal tear
that slides from Your eye.

Tighter than the buckled strap,
my image reversed
beneath You,
held in a single breath.

That droplet on Your cheek
it moves so slowly.
What service of mine
has wrung this sign
from You.

The begging scream is muted,
i cannot hear in this space
where time has stopped,
trapped inside You.

The slowed moment
of awed release,
where ecstacy flies
beyond the raw edges of pain
is paused.

That droplet on Your cheek
i need it to fall,
i need it to fall
on me.
