‘Tis quite saddening, all the while maddening
To see such a bleak and weary soul.
Between that being and other of higher stature
The difference is perplexingly droll.
Broken, torn, and lifeless is that poor child.
She doesn’t know where to go or what to do.
She knows not why she is alone—
She just wants to be like you.
Night after night, she ponders in her chamber
Why she is not accepted.
She is sure not of what drives her to live—
She follows the path directed.
Fears she that love will not find her,
Hopes she that it will.
Prays she that one day “Prince Charming” will come.
